Interest in Romanian real estate has been strong in the property and investment media, and no authority is more widely quoted, nor more frequently interviewed, than ARD. Here’s a summary of our recent media appearances:
 ‘Investment opportunities in Romanian city property’22 January 2008, HomeMove Nokia and Ford Motor Company have set up operations in Romania to join the increasing number of blue chip companies present in the country. Alex Pintea, MD of ARD is being interviewed on the impact this has on the local property market. Click here to download the full article.  In October 2007, Business Review, Romania’s top English language business weekly, featured the interest of British buyers in Romanian real estate. Anglo-Romanian Development provided the expert market commentary and a synopsis of the successful British investments in the market. Click here to download the full article.  The June edition of the Solicitors Journal featured a property supplement with a specific focus on Romania. Alex Pintea, the MD of Anglo-Romanian Development was extensively featured in the article. He discussed important aspects for foreign buyers such as ownership, contracts, mortgages, pitfalls for foreign buyers and marketing a property. Click here for a copy of the article.  Channel 4 featured Romania in a special edition of the acclaimed property programme 'A Place in the Sun' in January 2006. Their overseas property investment analysts set out to compare the returns you could get if you put your money and faith into European property. Romania ranked first and this research project was later featured in the programme called 'The 20 Best to Make Money'. 'A Place in the Sun' the magazine dedicated three pages of its March issue to Romania as a result of Romania winning the accolade of the 'Best Place to Make Money' programme. Click here for a copy of the article. The Sunday Observer On 13 March 2006 Anglo-Romanian Development and its cofounder Alex Pintea were featured in the Sunday Observer. The article covered basic information about the Romanian market and it adds to the UK investors’ increasing interest in Romanian property. Property Investor News The March 2006 issue covered the Romanian property market, including information helpfully provided by Anglo-Romanian Development. The Best Place To Make Money in Property In 2005 and February 2006, the BBC featured Romania in the property series 'Uncharted Territory'. The Sunday Times also recognised the thriving property market in Romania and on 22 January 2006 wrote an informative article titled 'Romanian Romance'. To view the full article click here.  The Daily Telegraph has also covered Romanian property over a number of issues in 2005. Gradually the media seems to be waking-up to the unique opportunity in Romania. The recognition and credibility of this market are mounting, as is the number of serious, long term investors.
